Comparison between Pre -test and Post -test Knowledge scores obtained by the res pondents. The mean Pre -test score was 14.35 and the mean post test score was 18.82. The mean difference between Pre -test and post -test Knowledge score was 4.46. The table also shows that the Standard deviation of Pre -test score of Knowledge was 3.54 and S tandard deviation of post test score of knowledge is 3.06. The calculated‘t’ was 12.65 and the tabulated‘t’ was 2 at 0.05 level of significance at for 59 df. There was significant increase in the knowledge score and change in the attitude of the AWWs afte r the administration of the Planned Teaching Programme on PEM.
